Mycotoxins are fungal secondary metabolites commonly present in cereals and feedstuffs. When ingested, mycotoxins trigger deleterious effects on the animals, as varied as immune, digestive and reproductive troubles, globally impacting performance. The economic impact of mycotoxin contamination can be severe.
Solution
Wide-spectrum adsorption
The key to combatting mycotoxins in feed is to use a wide-spectrum solution as polycontamination is the usual situation. A complete solution must be efficient for a wide spectrum of mycotoxins, including large and complex ones.
The MMi.S formula provides a wide spectrum of adsorption, thanks to its composition unique association of specific clay, algae and complementary selected materials. MMi.S® microgranular presentation has been specifically designed for easy use on the farms. It is particularly adapted for Total Mixed Rations (TMR) and layers feed (mash feed) to avoid demixing problems.
Dosage: from 0.5 to 2.5kg/ton (0.5 to 2.5 g/kg dry matter intake) depending on mycotoxin risk and species concerned
