Description

Benefits

Development of an active rhizosphere and improved nodulation in legumes

Optimized nutrition for young plants

Greater resilience to chemical stress

Secured yield potential

Challenge

Poor root establishment weakens the crop

From germination, the plant begins building its root system—the key to nutrient and water uptake throughout the crop cycle—largely through symbiotic relationships with surrounding soil microorganisms. However, degraded soil conditions and the chemical pressure from seed-applied crop protection products can slow down rhizosphere development and limit nutrient uptake once the seedling starts growing on its own.

Solution

Promote the development of an active rhizosphere

Seedup ST biosolutions are specially formulated to act on both root formation and the microbial activity in the spermosphere (the zone around the seed). With MIP® SEED technology, based on enzyme cofactor minerals, Seedup ST biosolutions stimulate the establishment and activity of beneficial rhizosphere microflora. This helps quickly build the symbiotic relationships essential for early plant nutrition. The action of Seedup ST biosolutions also improves tolerance to the potentially depressive effects of chemical protection treatments applied directly to the seed or its surrounding soil.
