Description
Benefits
Preservation of foliage quality and photosynthesis
Continued leaf and root development for better plant nutrition
Preserved yield potential
Weed control efficiency maintained
Challenge
Control weed without damaging the crop
In certain situations, herbicide selectivity can be impaired. Phytotoxicity phenomena can then appear on crops, with marked symptoms (yellowing, wilting, etc.), likely to reduce yield potential.
Situations where herbicide selectivity may be affected include :
– Wide temperature variations
– Treatment at late stages of crop development
– Treatment of weakened crops
– Light, filtering soils, or soils with slaking crust or hydromorphic conditions
– Heavy rainfall after weeding
– Cold weather in the days following weeding…
Solution
Activate crop detoxification
Thanks to its MIP® PLANT mineral technology, Blue Guardian activates the intracellular calcium signal, one of the plant’s stress warning mechanisms. The benefits for the crop are:
– increased production of antioxidant molecules and detoxifying proteins
– faster elimination of toxic compounds
– stimulation of chlorophyll production in the plant
Applied in combination with herbicides during post-emergence weed control, Blue Guardian enables the crop to continue its development unhindered, thus preserving its full production potential.
Technology: MIP® PLANT
Dosage:
2 L/ha mixed with post-emergence herbicides. In the event of declared stress, Blue Guardian can be applied alone.
Packaging: 20 L can, 1,000 L IBC
Compliance with organic farming regulations: European regulations EU 2018/848 and 2021/1165
