Iron: essential but sometimes difficult to absorb
Iron is essential for the formation of chlorophyll, the pigment that enables photosynthesis. Photosynthesis produces the energy necessary for turf growth and vitality. Even if iron is abundant in the soil, several factors can hinder its absorption by the plant, such as oxidizing conditions around the roots (especially in sandy soils), a soil pH that is too high, compacted soil or damaged roots, and antagonism with other minerals like phosphorus, zinc, or copper.

– On greens: 5 kg/ha every 3 to 4 weeks
– On fairways and sports turf: 10 to 15 kg/ha every 3
