Olmix Group continues to roll out its 2021-2025 strategic plan with the appointment of Catherine Lamboley as Global Plant Care Division Head.
Mrs Catherine Lamboley, new director of the Olmix Group’s Plant Care division
She will launch a new effort to support the deployment and strengthening of the Group’s position in the soil and plant biosolutions market in order to provide concrete and effective tools to agriculture key players – farmers, distributors, manufacturers and third parties – throughout the world. She will ensure the international development and visibility of science-based biosolutions that are profitable for the farmer and more respectful of the environment.
Catherine Lamboley will bring to the Group her knowledge of the agricultural world – from 25 years of experience in the agricultural industry – and her business expertise acquired through the various positions she has held (general management, sales, marketing, supply chain and finance).
As a member of the Group Executive Committee, she will report to the CEO, Mr Jean-Christophe Juilliard.
The biosolutions respond to a logic of integrated management of the plant ecosystem, acting on the soil and the plants, enabling the reconciliation of economic and environmental performance. The Olmix Plant Care product range, effectively demonstrated by trials carried out throughout the world and tailor-made solutions, thus provides responses to the sustainability and profitability challenges faced by our partners and customers in field crops, amenities and fruit and vegetable crops.
“Food and climate issues are of great importance to me and I am convinced that these new alternative technologies, healthier for the environment and responding to the expectations of the agricultural world and society, will accelerate the transformation of agriculture to achieve a more sustainable and resilient production says Catherine Lamboley. Olmix is in line with this vision and has all the assets to provide innovative and efficient solutions to all the players in the agricultural world thanks to unique R&D and processes, a strong international presence, a wide range of products adapted to each need, committed men and women who promote collaboration and collective intelligence to face common challenges.”
Jean-Christophe Juilliard points out that the arrival of Catherine Lamboley “illustrates the Group’s strong ambitions to develop its Plant care business, for which we have innovative solutions in line with the expectations of a fast-changing market. Agricultural production methods are evolving and are leading, throughout the world and on many crops, to a growing need for alternative biosolutions from the soil to the plant. Catherine Lamboley’s experience and knowledge of international agricultural production issues will enable the Group to develop and promote our new solutions in order to help the plant sectors evolve their production methods for the benefit of all their stakeholders.“
