MFeed+ (Olmix China), Olmix’s natural feed additive based on Olmix patented Algae and Clay technology, was awarded for the ‘Innovative Product’ category.
Hosted by the France China Committee and labelled ‘One planet summit’ for its contribution to the mobilization and the implementation of concrete solutions towards greater climate action, the 4th edition of the Innovation Awards for Franco-Chinese Teams was successfully held in Paris on December 12.
The awards, which aim to recognize innovative projects developed by Franco-Chinese bi-cultural teams, were chaired by the French National Center for Scientific Research, who distinguished the best applications within the four following categories: ‘R&D (Research & Development) Award’, ‘Innovative Product Award’, ‘Innovative Initiative Award’ and ‘Special Climate Award’.
Olmix Group, one of the nominees for the ‘Innovative Product’ category, was finally awarded for its product MFeed+ (Olmix China), a natural feed additive based on Olmix patented Algae and Clay technology which aims to improve digestion and thus reduce antibiotics use in animal nutrition. Mr Virgil Meallet, Olmix representative at the event, received the prize on stage on behalf of the company.
The Awards were also a good opportunity to highlight the great cooperation in scientific and technological research between France and China through official industrial cooperation, dialogue structures and research networks.
Olmix Group was awarded for the ‘Innovative Product’ category.
